Some of New England's finest inns offer free or discounted stays on September 11

In honor of the tenth anniversary of the September 11 tragedy, innkeepers of four Distinctive Inns of New England--Captain’s House Inn in Chatham, MA;  Rabbit Hill Inn in Lower Waterford, VT;  Deerfield Inn in Deerfield, MA; Manor on Golden Pond, in Holderness, NH; as well as the celebrated Berry Manor Inn in Rockland, Maine--are offering free or highly discounted rooms to first responders on Sunday, September 11, 2011.

The offer for first responders----police men and women, firefighters, EMTs, Emergency Room staff, active military, or immediate relatives of fallen first responders--is in appreciation for their challenging work and to honor those who put their lives on the lines to make our communities safer.
