September is a transitional month for many riders at the hot weather fights off fall and the days start getting a little shorter and many of the motorcycle events are winding down and wrapping it up for the year. Here are a few things coming up.
Friday September 5, 2014
Pirate Speedway in San Bernardino. There are a few races left before the championships are wrapped up. If you have never seen or been to a Speedway race its lots of fun, the races only last a minute or two and it’s a family event and family sport many of the racers have kids competing in races.

Riverside Harley Davidson, 7688 Indiana Avenue in Riverside.
Free Pancake Breakfast start at 9:00 a.m. and ends when done. There are also new models of Harley-Davidson motorcycles on display (and for sale) check the website for other events.

Sunday September 7, 2014
9/11 Memorial Ceremony hosted by Loma Linda and Colton Fire Department.
Starting point is Quaid Harley-Davidson Loma Linda then leaves at 10:30 a.m.
Cost is free but donations are accepted.

Tuesdays
Before you watch Sons of Anarchy take a Ride to Zorbas Bike Night which starts around 7:00 p.m. very laid back and family friendly. The Pastrami is very good as are the other items on the menu and be sure to check out their two computerized Coke machines which offers a wide assortment of flavors and combinations. You never know who is going to show up I have seen some motorcycle personalities.

If you are in the Riverside area check out Bikers Alley at 2867 Main Street this motorcycle shop has some interesting things and motorcycle parts on display and for sale. Catering mainly to American V twins it’s still an interesting place to visit. Open Tuesday through Saturday. www.abikersalley.com.
