- July 20, 1965: Two well-known '60s records are released. Bob Dylan's "Like a Rolling Stone" eventually reaches #2 and the Lovin' Spoonful's "Do You Believe in Magic" reaches #9.
- July 20, 1968: Iron Butterfly's "In-a-Gadda-da-Vida," with a very long drum solo, enters the American charts.
