- July 13, 1985: Despite rumors that George Harrison and Ringo Starr would join him, only Paul McCartney appears at the conclusion of Live Aid in London to sing "Let It Be," though a faulty microphone make Paul McCartney's vocal almost inaudible during the live broadcast of the song.
- July 13, 1961: St. John's Hall, Liverpool.
- July 13, 1965: Paul McCartney is presented with five Ivor Novello Awards at a lunch party at The Savoy, London.
- July 13, 1969: Over 100 US radio stations ban the Beatles single "The Balled Of John and Yoko" calling the line "Christ, you know it ain't easy," offensive.
