Solving a mystery is fun and great way to celebrate Halloween. During the autumn season, Kansas City has several murder mystery dinner theaters that will entice the most devoted Nancy Drew or Hardy Boy detective. Here are some of the most popular murder mystery attractions in the area.
The Murder Mystery Company
The Murder Mystery Company has performances at the Tiffany Ballroom, 903 Harrison St., Kansas City, Mo. at $60 a ticket, which includes three-course meal and show. Besides offering a great performance they also encourage guest to dress up for the 1930’s mystery in fedoras, full-length dresses and pinstripe suites. Their next performance begins on Oct. 19th and tickets are for sale on their website.

Kansas City Mystery Train
The Kansas City Mystery Train invites you on a pretend train ride (it’s just the backdrop), dinner, and a mystery. The train has begun their journey into a whodunit scenario with a show now running, Murder at the Royal, through October 26th. If you miss this show, no problem, there is another show that is featured from November to January. Tickets are $64 dollars a person, which includes a full-course meal and live performance. Mysteries at Holy-Field Winery
Holy-Field Winery is having a murder mystery dinner for adults, 21 and over, on October 25th and 26th at $40 a person. This price includes an interactive mystery, performance, and dinner.
