These kinds of bone chilling stories don’t happen every day, in fact they don’t usually occur once on a lifetime. Retired soldier, Kayode Sotunde 49 had plans when he went on a trip from Gboko to Kano April 11, 2013. The man lived, then died and came back to life to live again.
Zombies move over
Sotunde was on an 18-seat bus, on his way to visit his brother, that was involved in a fatal crash that killed himself and 17 others. Pronounced dead on arrival he was taken to the mortuary, where his body stayed along with the others waiting to be claimed by family members. His body was about to be prepared for burial when suddenly he woke up.
“I am a living witness to the fact that God exists”
“If I had not lived it, I wouldn’t believe it either. I died in an accident with 17 others, but resurrected three days later in the mortuary. I was playing with my phone, about two hours into the trip. I didn’t pray or go to church, a common man and a free thinker. I knew it was an accident.” Sotunde told the story.
“There is a heaven”
“I was completely in another realm. The place was a fine place. Flying and not walking, I could hear faint music, Anglican music, The stars were not stationary and there was no day or light. I heard a voice that said I should return home for the Lord. I should go home and heal. They said there were people suffering pain. I shoul return home and make them survive. I said but ‘I beg, I can’t do it.’ Then I saw my younger brother and was back in the world again.”
Some of his friends have deserted him and others on sight run away from Sotynde. He still has not received proper medical attention and spits blood when he coughs but doesn’t have the money. Kayode Sotunde is a retired soldier with the Nigerian Army, with supply and transport, Agapa Lagos.
