Recently I published an article about Solar Energy World having a workshop in order to educate Marylander’s on how to be more sustainable and save money on energy bills. Well, if you missed that workshop there is some good news; there will be another one offered on March 16th, where you may obtain free admission if you RSVP by March 9. Otherwise it will be $20 at the door without RSVP. Again, they will offer refreshments and coffee, will be giving away gifts and information packages for attending, and will be giving tours of Solar Energy World’s rooftop solar system.
Last month Solar Energy World installed a solar electric system for Boarman’s Old Fashioned Meat Market in Howard County, Maryland. This business of over 50 years has now reduced its carbon footprint about 560,000 pounds and will generate revenue in excess of $75,000 with its installation of a 204.96KW Solar Photovoltaic System. The revenue will come from the reduction of energy costs and accumulation of energy credits. George Boarman, owner of Boarman’s Meat Market, claims to be very pleased with the new installation and has stated in an article that he hopes his “customers will take the time to look at [his] place’s system and call Solar Energy World to find out if their home or business is solar eligible. It’s worth it.”
Therefore, mark your calendar for March 16th to learn how to save money, reduce your carbon footprint, and make your home more sustainable.
