In new reports, Solange Knowles has been called the center of the attention at her sister Beyonce's Ziegfield Theatre screening of the documentary, "Life is but a Dream." According to a number of sources, including On The Red Carpet, on Feb. 13, this famous sibling didn't necessarily try to upstage her sister but she happened to do that merely because Solange was wearing something even more dynamic than Beyonce had on for the evening.
So how did Solange upstage Beyonce?
Because she wasn't wearing anything but what looked like a man's shirt and a pair of sky high heels. She looked like a female version of Tom Cruise in "Risky Business."
Yes, that's right. while Beyonce rocked a slinky Elie Saab Couture gown to her big event, Solange Knowles had on, well, an invisible skirt. Ever the ultimate fashionista who isn't afraid to try new styles, Solange donned this eye-catching ensemble to the star-studded event featuring Beyonce's film that looks into her life in a very candid way.
Meanwhile, dressing in a very candid way for the gathering was her sister, who is also a singer. In fact, the 26-year old recently released her album called "True," which contains "Losing You," a chart-climbing tune.
And so, even though Beyonce was supposed to be the woman of the hour, her sister Solange Knowles may well have stolen a bit of her thunder by wearing a look that had sartorial sorts watching and wondering what happened to the bottom part of this stylish artist's extremely intriguing fashion statement.
"Life is but a Dream" premieres on HBO on Feb. 16.
