26 year-old Solange Knowles knows how to “try” to grab attention from sister Beyonce. The Daily Mail put it succinctly in a Feb. 12 report, writing, “When your sister is Beyonce Knowles, there’s not much point in competing for best dressed on the red carpet.” Rocking the “shock factor” look, the younger Knowles sister arrived at the premiere of Beyonce’s HBO documentary “Life is But a Dream” in a white top.
Posing for photos from every camera angle on the red carpet at the Ziegfeld Theater event in NYC, Solange was all about the 70s vibe, and it was lovely indeed. From the simple white top to the bold and fabulous hair, sexy strappy sandals and sassy eyeliner, Solange worked it out.
Other red carpet guests who showed up to support Beyonce included her mom, Tina Knowles, Oprah Winfrey, Angela Bassett, and model Doutzen Kroes. In the documentary, Beyonce opens up about everything from her music to her miscarriage. Oprah had nothing but praise for the superstar saying, “She did an amazing job. People are going to be amazed … People are going to feel a connection to her that they didn’t feel before.”
