Sofia Vergara had a serious illness that got her hospitalized. She also missed out on the 2013 Oscars. Fans have been worried about the "Modern Family" actress. They were worried about her current state of health. Extra TV reported on Feb. 26 that Sofia simply had influenza.
Vergara said that she's currently recovering from the flu. She told her fans that she's feeling better. The curvaceous even got out of bed to tweet to her fans. In fact, she tweeted from her bed.
Sofia said that she was watching the Oscars from her bed. She even took an unflattering picture of herself in bed recovering as proof. She joked that she had to stay home so she couldn't give everyone her illness.
The actress is apparently doing better now. She was reportedly back on the set of "Modern Family" on Tuesday. She shot a rollerblading scene with co-star Ty Burrell.
The Sofia Vergara illness has been solved. It looks like she caught the influenza bug that's been going around. It's hit other actors like Burt Reynolds who's also been hospitalized from the illness.
