"Dragon's Prophet," a new game from the creators of Runes of Magic and publisher Sony Online Entertainment, centers around something many fantasy fans love; dragons. In this MMO, players can "capture, train, and ride" their own dragons. Today, the game officially went into closed beta.
Right now, closed beta is limited to, of course, invited players only. Early phases of beta will extend to "loyal fans" like SOE Live attendees, but more invites will roll out slowly. Players need to sign up for beta to be considered. In fact, the first large wave of invites will go out on March 29.
The game will feature an "extensive housing system," a city-building function for guild leaders, interesting classes, a combo system for combat, and an emphasis on dragons. "Dragon's Prophet" will be a free-to-play title that will utilize Station Cash within a marketplace. There is no firm release date yet.
