The new film "Side Effects" had its New York City premiere at AMC Lincoln Square Theater on Jan. 31, 2013, in New York City. "Side Effects" was directed by Steven Soderbergh and stars Rooney Mara, Channing Tatum and Jude Law.
Gracing the red carpet at the NYC premiere was Catherine Zeta-Jones, Rooney Mara, Channing Tatum, Jude Law, Michael Douglas, Vinessa Shaw, Donna Karan and Rachel Roy, Kate Mara, Gina Gershon and many more.
In "Side Effects," Emily and Martin are a successful New York couple whose world unravels when a new drug prescribed by Emily's psychiatrist - intended to treat anxiety - has unexpected side effects.
"Side Effects" will debut at the Berlin Film Festival early in February. The film will hit U.S. theaters on Friday, Feb. 8, 2013. The film will battle for box office dollars with the comedy "Identity Thief" and "Top Gun: The IMAX 3D Experience."
"Side Effects" is rated R for sexuality, nudity, violence and language and has a run-time of 1 hour and 45 minutes.
