Short after the news broke all Social Media outlets started showing posts and pictures remembering Mandela's legacy.

The Toady Show kept their Facebook update short: "Nelson Mandela, South Africa’s first black president and anti-apartheid activist, has died." combined with a picture of Nelson Mandela with his big smile, just as he should be remembered.

The Huffington Post's update on Google Plus was a little more elaborated: "Nelson Mandela Dead: Former South Africa President Dies At 95. Former South African President Nelson Mandela, who served 27 years in prison for anti-apartheid activities and led his continent into a new era, has died at age 95."

It's times like these that remind us of the reach and all the advantages of Social Media. News can be spread far and fast, hopefully teaching us needed lessons, remembering history, and honoring people that have fought for us.
