Two people with technical genius partnered with intentions of changing the world of education and they're doing it. If you haven't heard the names Daphne Koller and Andrew Ng, you will be. Daphne Koller, the Rajeev Motwani Professor in the computer science Department at Stanford University and Andrew Ng, Associate Professor of Computer Sciences at Stanford and the Director of Stanford's Artificial Intelligence Lab, are the Founders and Co-CEO's of Coursera.Org.
Huge visions often require huge funding and for Coursera.Org, to date ,they've received more than$16million in funding with the help of John Doerr, Partner Kleiner Perkins Caufield&Byers, and Scott Sandell, General Partner NEA.
To change the world of education Coursera.Org now has entered into partnerships with 33 Universities. These partnerships make it possible for Coursera to offer a class schedule of more than 200 University courses online with even course offerings planned for the near future. Students who enroll in these courses will be receiving this education tuition-free.
In order to make their dreams a reality, Coursera. Org needed a team, a highly technically capable team with a passion for their mission and they have found a talented team to make this happen.

Now that you've been introduced to most of the team, you're probably interested in which Universities are involved in this partnership and about the types of courses that students can enroll in online for free.
