Sochi Olympics workers have been busy getting rid of the Apple logo on laptops and iPads by apparently taping over the logos of those gadgets in use at Olympic Park. According to the Associated Press via Yahoo! News on Feb. 10, this extra curricular activity is a coverup of these top tech products made in Cupertino, Calif.

So who has been affected?

First of all, reporters who were using their MacBook Pro computers while sitting in the venues. All were working hard when suddenly, the journalists' laptops were assaulted. Indeed, the legendary logo of the apple that shines through on the top of all Apple computers when they're switched on were duct taped. This was done to make recognition of the brand difficult to discern.

In addition, iPads made by Apple were affected by the Sochi Olympics workers coverup. This happened at tables where the press sit and only allegedly when the name brand tablets were lying flat.

Now why is this happening?

Possibly because Samsung is the official Sochi Winter Olympics 2014 sponsor and Apple is not. But then again, other, more mysterious reasons for a coverup may come into play so please stay tuned.
