Olympic hopeful Ashley Wagner made a big decision about her upcoming performance for the 2014 Sochi Olympics. The Team USA athlete has decided to revert to her old figure skating freestyle program which includes different music. According to NBC Sports on Tuesday, this decision was based on the assessments of her performances and a personal choice.

When Ashley Wagner steps out on the ice, the fans will hear the music from Samson and Delilah instead of Romeo and Juliet. This decision might sound minor to some fans, but the older program brought her wins in previous competitions so the return to the previous program will build up her confidence. Tweaking the final presentation, the athlete is working closely with her coaches to make sure that the program is on point and all she needs to do is skate confidently.

With the Olympics being only a few weeks away, Ashley Wagner is currently making her final preparations before heading to Sochi. Looking to squeeze out extra practice time and making sure she is comfortable with every part of her program, the Olympic hopeful is making the best of her time.

The fans will be cheering Ashley Wagner on in Sochi! The figure skater is one athlete to keep an eye on during the Winter Games!
