Lets look at the ratings in 2 ways for this week, All the mumbo jumbo of age groups versus total viewers, households. What?? That is my reaction every week. Honestly no matter how they cut it Young and the Restless is the number one soap!
The other ratings give hope to the other soaps and that is good, but really they are all doing well, up from last year and that is the real news.

2. B&B 3,403,000 (-132,000/+148,000)
3. GH 2,759,000 (-11,000/+191,000)
4. DAYS 2,434,000 (-6,000/-9,000)
1. Y&R 3.3/12 (same/+.1)
2. B&B 2.6/9 (same/+.2)
3. GH 2.1/7 (-.1/+.2)
Women 18-34 Viewers
1. GH 220,000 (+11,000/+11,000)
2. Y&R 216,000 (+55,000/+25,000)
3. DAYS 189,000 (+47,000/+29,000)
4. B&B 169,000 (+14,000/+23,000)
Women 18-34 Rating
1. GH 0.7 (+.1/+.1)
2. DAYS 0.6 (+.2/+.1)
2. Y&R 0.6 (+.1/same)
4. B&B 0.5 (same/+.1)
All network soaps operas gained in the key demo of 18-49 women! Days of our Lives added the most viewers in this category with +61,000 as Nick Fallon was shot at the end of the week with Days of our Lives that adding the most viewers in the 25-54 women’s demo. All soaps were up in the 18-34 women’s demo.
General Hospital’s numbers for total viewers are up from last year for the ratings week compared to this year with almost +200,000 . GH scored it’s highest numbers the week of Thursday, May 8th when the Nurses Ball started.
All soaps lost total viewers for the ratings week with The Bold and the Beautiful losing the most with -132,000.
