Actress Crystal Hunt, 28, perhaps still best known for portraying the character Lizzie Spaulding on TV’s soap “Guiding Light” from 2003 through 2006, was released from jail on the morning of Dec. 14 in Los Angeles after being charged with felony assault with a deadly weapon following a late night bar brawl.

According to TMZ, the blond actress reportedly got into a heated altercation with another female patron at Pearl's Liquor Bar in West Hollywood around 12:30 a.m., and then allegedly “broke a glass over a girls face.”

Hunt allegedly threw a pint glass at the victim, hitting her in the face.

Hunt was arrested following the altercation, and then released from jail the following morning after making bail.

According to Shepard Kopp, Crystal Hunt’s lawyer, the actress was defending herself, claiming that the woman she allegedly assaulted had been threatening her.

Hunt also claims she tried having the woman removed by security multiple times but they failed to do so.

The victim required medical attention, although the extent of her injuries aren’t known.

In addition to her time on “Guiding Light,” Hunt also played the role of Stacy Morasco on “One Life to Live” during 2009 – 2010.
