A Twitter post from Infinity Ward has hinted that John "Soap" MacTavish may make an appearance in the next Call of Duty: Ghosts-DLC.
The tweet that was posted on April 14 and it states "Continue?" while featuring an image of Soap with a caption that reads "Continue, yes or no".
John "Soap" MacTavish was one of the main characters in the Modern Warfare story-arc. He first appeared in Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare as a playable character but was killed-off in Modern Warfare 3.
Dave Owen of VG24/7 speculates that Soap may make an appearance in the Legends Pack for the multiplayer game. This is based inclusions of Captain Price and Vladimir Makarov in the previous DLC.
Several other gamer sites have also shared this theory.
Sarmad Lillah of SegmentNext notes that this may not be an official confirmation that he will be a playable character.
Call of Duty: Ghosts is the tenth game in the popular series that has sold over 100 million copies and on average has 40 million active players a month. The game has players take on the role as operatives of the Ghosts as they wage a war against the Federation in an attempt to defend America's sovereignty.
The first DLC, Onslaught, was released on January 28 while the second DLC, Devastation, was released on April 3.
