What is Soak-off Gel Polish?

The Process Once the polish has been painted on the nails, the process includes drying the nails under a UV light, which dries the polish within minutes. This translates to no dry time and no smudging! The Soak-off Gel Polish lasts 2-3 weeks without any chipping and it isn't harmful to your natural nails, as acrylic and other enhancements can be ( no drill and no filing!). If you want to change your color mid manicure you can have your manicurist paint over the existing Soak-off Gel with regular nail polish.
The Pros and Cons The other side of Soak-off Gel Polish is that it can only be applied by a professional, unless you are highly skilled and don't mind purchasing a UV light. The service is more costly than a regular manicure and takes a little more time to complete. However, this may be worth it if your nail polish doesn't chip for 3 weeks! To remove the nail polish you can have your manicurist soak it off or you can do it at home using an acetone soaked cotton ball.
