Bianca and Phillip were eliminated from "So You Think You Can Dance" season six on the week two episode.
The judges felt Bianca didn't live up to her partner and her routine this week. No reason was given for Phillip's elimination, but Nigel did say he was heartbroken over the loss of two tap dancers in one night.
The other two bottom four dancers were Noelle and Victor.
Couple performances
Noelle & Russell - Hip-Hop
- Adam - Thought the dancers were too much in to their characters; Thought the choreography was overwhelming the dancers
- Nigel - Felt the choreography was too fast for the dancers; Wasn't sure this performance would keep Noelle out of the bottom four; Disappointed
- Mary - Russell out shined Noelle, which she expected because Hip-Hop is Russell's style; Didn't really see a weakness in Noelle's performance
- Manchester TV Examiner - The tennis racket props were interesting but definitely didn't add to the routine; Didn't love the choreography; Hip-hop is not for Noelle; Loved the flip Russell did at the end
Channing & Phillip - Samba
- Adam - Could see both dancers struggling with the style; Really impressed with Channing's footwork
- Nigel - Channing looked nervous because of Phillip; Phillip looked like he was struggling
- Mary - Didn't feel the celebration in it; Phillip's feet were sloppy; Channing was coming to life; Felt Phillip let Channing down
- Manchester TV Examiner - A couple of points could have been smoother; I expected it to be better, although there were some parts I really liked; Loved the choreography; Phillip appeared to be really struggling with the lifts
Ashleigh & Jakob - Viennese Waltz
- Adam - Loved the dancers but didn't love the choreography; Thought there were too many leaps and lifts; Growing to love Ashleigh
- Nigel - Was happy to see Jakob's leaps and lifts; Ashleigh is definitely proving those who didn't believe in her wrong; Very strong routine
- Mary - Felt Jakob's Waltz could've been better; Didn't see the power in Jakob's dance that was necessary; Ashleigh was wonderful and extremely smooth
- Manchester TV Examiner - Love the connection between this couple; They were more evenly matched this week; Ashleigh was gorgeous; Jakob looked like he floated on air; Their holds were very nice; The odd turn/lift at the end was unbelievable
Pauline & Peter - Jazz
- Adam - Felt the couple was 1,000 percent committed to the character and performance; Peter really got in to the character
- Nigel - Peter needs to open up his arms when he dances; Thought Pauline was sharp
- Mary - Loved the concept and the costumes; Don't think it is going to take the dancers anywhere; Thought both dancers danced the routine well
- Manchester TV Examiner - Really interesting choreography; Pauline didn't seem really in to; Loved Peter's facial expressions; Peter was my favorite dancer in this performance because of his personality
Bianca & Victor - Broadway
- Adam - Was looking for the dancers to get wild, but they never did; Need to realize "the point" of each piece
- Nigel - Victor looked like a fish out of water; Disappointed
- Mary - Needed to get crazier; Thought Victor lost character at one point; Wanted a lot more from the dancers
- Manchester TV Examiner - Beginning of the routine didn't interest me; Loved the pick up toward the end; Bianca looked like she was having the most fun of her entire life
Karen & Kevin - Hip-Hop
- Adam - Karen tore it up; Kevin was fun to watch because he really looked like he was enjoying the character
- Nigel - Karen is a pleasure to watch, especially her personality
- Mary - Karen is on the hot tamale train; Kevin has amazing confident and commitment
- Manchester TV Examiner - Choreography moved a little slow for me for Hip-Hop; Really liked some of the partner work; Facial expressions were great; Definitely a sexy routine
Ellenore & Ryan - Argentine Tango
- Adam - Connection between the two was fantastic; Ellenore showed maturity they haven't seen; Very impressed that Ellenore was able to work through her heel being caught in her dress
- Nigel - Didn't think any couple on the show this season could dance the Argentine Tango any better than Ellenore and Ryan did
- Mary - Both were phenomenal and spot on; Technique was outstanding
- Manchester TV Examiner - Beautiful Tango; Beautiful lifts, turns and drops; Ryan did a great job staying in character; Ellenore was amazing working through her dress being caught in her heel
Kathyrn & "Legacy" - Contemporary
- Adam - Unbelievably proud of "Legacy"; Felt "Legacy" turned a corner tonight as a dancer; Can't wait to see what the couple does next week
- Nigel - Choreography was phenomenal; Amazed by the growth in "Legacy"
- Mary - Love seeing the growth in both dancers; Kathryn nailed it
- Manchester TV Examiner - Absolutely beautiful; Powerful; This couple belongs dancing together; Kathryn holding "Legacy" was incredible to watch; Both dancers leaps, turns and lifts were magnificent; Definitely my favorite performance of the night
Mollee & Nathan - Bollywood
- Adam - Mollee was less floppy than we've seen in the past
- Nigel - Nathan was fantastic; Dancers looked great; Choreography was wonderful
- Mary - Fabulous; Opening was like a Hollywood movie
- Manchester TV Examiner - Really loved the choreography, especially Nathan's solo pieces; Nathan's turns were amazing; Didn't feel like Mollee's upper body was as tight as it should've been
