As great of a season as "So You Think You Can Dance" has experienced this time around, there is a little bit of tragedy mixed in -- Alex Wong, considered by many to be the favorite in this competition, was taken out of commission due to injury.
Before that, though, he had the chance to act out an extremely memorable Tabitha and Napoleon hip-hop routine featuring All-Star tWitch. Even though Alex is not healthy enough to perform the bit (set to Lil' Jon) at the final Thursday night, the show has quite a surprise waiting for us.
According to Perez Hilton, Ellen DeGeneres is stepping in to dance in his place. She has been reportedly practicing for a month to get the moves right, and is graciously going to give Alex a proper tribute. Ellen has made headlines for the past month thanks to her departure from "American Idol", so it's also nice to see her getting some positive press again.

oh please....no....
I loved it. :)
SO disappointed. Robert, Billy, and Alex should have been the ones in the finale. Since Alex and Billy were not able to be the other two, I wanted Robert to win.
