"So You Think You Can Dance?" comes to Darien Lake

Darien Lake Resort, Western New York’s social and entertainment hub, is teaming up with FOX 29 Buffalo once again to give 12 lucky guests the chance to win a Grand Prize trip to attend the finale of the seventh season of the hit reality series, So You Think You Can Dance. The Resort is holding the final leg of the competition at its own Grand Theatre on July 24 at 12:30 p.m. where the 12 finalists will battle it out with their best dance moves to win the Grand Prize trip to Los Angeles.

“I’m always thrilled with how much local support emerges during this event,” said Christopher Thorpe, Darien Lake Resort’s General Manager. “ Darien Lake is proud to showcase young talent and give guests a chance to earn recognition and win amazing prizes at the same time.

To enter the So You Think You Can Dance contest, visit www.wutv.com and upload a 30-second video of your best dance performance by July 11. The top 12 videos will be chosen to compete for the Grand Prize on stage in a head-to-head dance competition and participants will be judged based on their original solo routines. Winning finalists will be notified by July 16.

Each of the 12 winning participants will receive four double-park admission tickets for Darien Lake Theme Park and SplashTown at Darien Lake Water Park . The contest will be held in the Grand Theatre on July 24 at 12:30 p.m. The Grand Prize includes hotel and airfare to Los Angeles and attendance to the taping of the finale.
