'So You Think You Can Dance': Cat Deeley talks season 9 changes

In case you haven't heard yet, the results show for "So You Think You Can Dance" has been canceled leading up to season 9 -- and this just means that we are going to end up seeing more intensity crammed into a single show than ever before.

Speaking to Entertainment Weekly at the show's audition session Monday, host Cat Deeley explained just how the show is going to end up changing things without an extra hour of programming to feature results:

“We’re going to amalgamate the results show into the main show, which I think will add another layer of jeopardy. We want to keep it punchy and keep that level of jeopardy and drama.”

Ultimately, we are still hopeful that the ratings for the show can end up picking up some steam. There are not really any dance competitions out there like it, and without "Live to Dance" on anymore there may be less of a feeling of overkill.
