So much folk music, so little time

Not just the University of Chicago Folk Fest this week. The 'burbs are alive with the sound of music (city, too).

Monday, February 6.

Heather Styka and Sue Fink in an omnichord extravaganza (We don't know what it means, either. Go and find out) at Uncommon Ground, 1401 W. Devon Ave, Chicago. 9 PM.

Tuesday, February 7.

We have great expectations for Dickensian Folk on Folk Festival with Lilli Kuzma. The pun is Lilli's so don't blame us. Kate Early live in studio, with a preview of the U of C folk festival. 90.9 FM or wdcb.org. 7 PM.

Joe Filisko at the Harlem Avenue Lounge, cojncidentally located on Harlem (3701 South, to be exact), Chicago. Time not given, so just go there and wait, I guess.
