The snow is falling; the temperature is falling; so….how are things? Rising Gallery is featuring the exhibition, “So….How are things” by artist Lloyd Lowe Jr. Put on your snow boots, winter scarf, warm coat, and cozy mittens and head on out to the opening reception tonight. The reception begins at 6:00p.m. and will last until 9:00 this evening. Aside from the fantastic art, hip environment, and delightful gallery patrons, the best thing about this event is the cost. It’s free. What could be better? Gallery-goers will be treated to a blend of art and technology in this exhibition.
Lowe is not only a trendsetting artist that blends the mundane with the technical, theory and philosophy with art; he is a chef at Ranchman’s Ponder Steakhouse. This up-and-coming talented artist will have his work featured at the Rising Gallery from February 11, 2010 through March 12, 2010. Art-lovers will want to attend the artist talk on February 27, 2010 from 1:30p.m. - 300p.m. to hear low discuss his concepts of design and technological interpretation.
