The powerful storm impacting West Michigan is currently centered along the Michigan Indiana border. I will continue to march to the east today and slowly take the snow away from the area.
The Grand Rapids National Weather Service has extended the Winter Weather Advisory until 10 AM Wednesday all of the West Michigan counties except Oceana, Mason and Lake. While just another inch or two of additional wet and slushy snow accumulation is anticipated, the roads will remain slick for the morning hours.
The total snowfall accumulation around the region will range from 2-6 inches.
See the slideshow on the top for a few forecast weather maps for the storm.
