The topiaries at the Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival are well known for their detail, but 2014 brings that to a whole new level. When the festival first started over 20 years ago, the topiaries were basically manicured that did, indeed, look like the Disney characters. However, there was no color, and certainly no discernible facial expressions.
As you can see in the slideshow accompanying this article, the Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs topiaries in the Germany section of World Showcase have an exquisite level of detail. You can actually see the expressions on their faces, and the characters are just about as true to the movie as they could possibly be in topiary form.
You'll notice this same attention to detail throughout the park, from the colorful representation of Simba and Rafiki to the brand-new Kermit and Miss Piggy topiaries (yes, Miss Piggy is even wearing a ring). There something else new this year: an interactive topiary photo op. Jump to this article to learn more about it.
