Miami Valley , Whitewater Valley, and the I-71 corridor of Ohio/Indiana:

Hazardous Outlook:

Blowing snow and a few left over snow squalls tonight will likely reduce visibility and cause roads to continue to be snow covered. Temperatures will drop to near zero overnight making salt less effective. Use caution when out driving tonight.

A weakening clipper will move across the region tomorrow and tomorrow night. It will bring two rounds of snow one batch early on in the day with snowfall amounts 1 to 2 inches. The highest totals will be along and North of I-70. The second batch will be later on tomorrow night with a very strong arctic front. Totals from this snowfall will be once again 1 to 2 inches. Totals across the region will be generally 2 to 4 inches. This front will drop temperatures to the lowest levels we have seen in years. Winds will be NW tonight at 10 to 20 mph then switching southerly tomorrow with gust to 30 mph. Then as the front makes it through winds will switch NW with gust to 30 mph again. This will likely cause more drifting and blowing snow. Wind chills early next week will be very dangerous, as low as -30. Stay tuned for further details.
