Kids and snow, what could be more fun? While all the other kids are out making plain snow angles and snowmen, send yours old armed with color, lots and lots of color!
With just a few clean empty spray bottles and food coloring you can open up a whole new definition of playing in the snow. Simply fill the spray bottles ¾ full with water and add drops of food coloring to make your kiddos favorites.
The colors can be used directly on the snow to write their names, make a rainbow or draw crazy designs.
Or, for added fun, give that snowman a pair of bright blue eyes and red buttons! Snow angles become works of art with colorful hair or wings.
Have the kids (or better yet, help the kids) roll out a number of basket size balls and let them go crazy coloring them before lining up a giant caterpillar! Add some small, thin branches (or popsicles sticks, cinnamon sticks etc) for antennas, rocks for eyes and to finish the world’s most colorful caterpillar!
And don’t forget to try this super easy snow ice cream recipe for a yummy treat.
