Snow Sculpture Championships in Breckenridge Jan.22-26

15 teams from around the world will be turning Breckenridge’s powder into larger than life snow sculptures at the 22nd Budweiser International Snow Sculpture Championships this week. Sculpting begins on Tuesday, Jan. 24 and continues until judging on Saturday, Jan. 28. The Grand Lighting will be held after judging at 6 p.m. on Saturday night, and sculptures will continue to be displayed through Feb. 5 (weather permitting). So head up to Breckenridge Jan. 22-26 to see the snow’s magnificent transformation from flake to art.
