Snow Mountain

Open weekends now through March 7, you can experience a Snow Mountain at Stone Mountain Park. This is the perfect experience for those Georgians who miss having snow in their front yards. There is a 400 foot tubing hill and a Snow Zone filled with activities to make this a fun-filled day for the whole family. New for 2010, there will be more tubing lands and two moving sidewalks to get you back up the hill faster. The Snow Zone includes Igloo City, where you can build your own igloo; Snowman Valley, where you can build and decorate your own snowman; and Snowball Shooting Gallery, where you can shoot snowballs at targets that move.
There’s also a place for little children to simply play in the snow. Children under 48 inches tall can visit the Snow Angels part of the park. They can slide down smaller hills on Snoboggans, play in the snow, and make snow angels.
Times vary from day to day, so check the website for the times. Tickets for Snow Mountain are $25. Parking is $10. All guests who want to enter Snow Mountain must have a ticket. For tubing, you must be 42 inches tall and able to ride on your own. Guests age 16 and under must be accompanied by a ticketed adult. For more information, visit http://www.snowmountainpark.com/

Looks like a lot of fun at the park. Is this on the main hill?

Sorry this is late, but yes, this is on the main hill where patrons usually watch the laser show. I wasn't able to visit this year, but the sledding ramps take up most of that hill.
