Low pressure over Iowa this morning will move southeast to the lower Ohio Valley tonight. Clouds will increase across northeastern Ohio today in advance of this system, and some light rain or snow could begin to fall by late in the day. Highs today will reach the mid 30s.
Tonight, any rain or mixed precipitation will change to all snow early with snow continuing overnight. The heaviest snow is expected to fall near and south of Route 30, with lighter amounts to the north. Areas across the far north from Cleveland to Ashtabula may see very little snowfall. Lows tonight will dip into the mid to upper 20s.
Accumulations ion excess of 4 inches will be possible near and south of Route 30. Accumulations will drop off sharply further north.
Snow will gradually tapper off to snow showers and drizzle by Wednesday afternoon. Highs on Wednesday will climb to the mid 30s.
High pressure will build across the region and bring us dry weather and some sunshine along with moderating temperatures Thursday and Friday. Highs on Thursday will reach the upper 30s, climbing to around 40 on Friday.
