Snow and some wintry mix redeveloping this morning and remaining chilly (Photos)

A coastal storm will track northeast into New England today with snow redeveloping across the region into this afternoon, but impacts on main roadways will be limited thanks to the strong March sun angle, so additional accumulations will be limited to colder surfaces. The weather will remain unsettled and chilly in the wake of the storm as an upper level low lingers over the northeastern states with an abundance of clouds and scattered flurries and snow showers for the remainder of the workweek.

Today – Cloudy with snow and sleet likely this morning, then a chance of snow showers this afternoon, possibly mixing with rain in the valley south of Albany. High 33-37. Winds southeast between 5 and 10 mph. Chance of precipitation near 100 percent. Additional snow and sleet accumulations of 1 to 4 inches possible.

Tonight – Cloudy with snow showers likely this evening, then becoming mostly cloudy. Low 23-27. Winds west between 10 and 15 mph, gusting up to 25 mph. Chance of snow 60 percent.

Wednesday – Mostly cloudy and breezy with a chance of snow showers. High 34-38. Winds west between 15 and 20 mph, gusting up to 30 mph. Chance of snow 30 percent.
