Snoop Dogg White House: Dogg with famous fondness for pot puffed at White House?

Snoop Dogg and the White House? A bit of a political anathema, but the rapper with a famous fondness for doobies threw a doozy out there when talking with Jimmy Kimmel on Snoop's web talk show, “Double G News Network.” The Dogg claimed he took a few puffs in one of the White House’s 35 bathrooms – and the Secret Service knew all about it.

Writes MSN’s Wonderwall: “Marijuana laws may have changed drastically during the Obama administration's tenure, but you still can't legally smoke weed in Washington, D.C. – and you certainly aren't allowed to light up at the White House. A certain d-o-double-g-pound honcho, however, isn't one to let a little something like the law (or the Secret Service) get in the way of his green.”

Snoop explains when asked by Kimmel if he’s ever smoked marijuana at Obama’s home:

“In the bathroom, not in the White House, but in the bathroom,” Snoop replied. “I said, ‘May I use the bathroom for a second?’ And the (Secret Service) said, ‘What are you gonna do in there, number one or number two?’ I said, ‘Number two.’”

Snoop says either “the CIA or the FBI,” individuals he called the “alphabet boys,” were monitoring his bathroom needs. Actually Snoop, the Secret Service is primarily responsible for security in the West Wing and the Executive Residence, but perhaps the feds have been tasked with keeping the public toilets operating and in good order.

“So I said, ‘Look, when I do the number two, I usually, you know, have a cigarette or light something to get the aroma right.’ And they said, ‘Well you know what? You can light a piece of napkin.’ I said, ‘I'll do that.’ And the napkin was this,” he said, taking a drag on the joint he had and Kimmel chuckles.

Believe him?

USA Today confirmed that a Calvin Broadus (Snoop Dogg’s birth name) was at the White House ahead of the Kennedy Center Honors in December of 2013, so it appears the voice for “Smooth Move” from the DreamWorks film Turbo did indeed have opportunity.

If it’s true, this wouldn’t be the first time that our nation’s presidential history has seen some green leaf. Heck, Presidents Washington and Jefferson grew hemp. And of course, we have Willie Nelson’s admission that he smoked a joint on the roof of the White House during the Carter Administration.
