'Snoop Dogg's Hood of Horror' star Aries Spears is at the Improv in Arlington

ad TV alumni member Aries Spears has come to Dallas to play the Improv comedy club in Arlington, Texas.

Spears, who horror fans might know in the role of Quan in the nicely bloody ‘Snoop Dogg’s Hood of Horror,’ has been making audiences laugh since the 80’s since his appearances on ‘Def Comedy Jam’ and ‘It’s Showtime at the Apollo.’ (Source, wikipedia.com)

Besides ‘Mad TV,’ Spears has had roles in films including ‘Jerry Maguire,’ (He joked about playing Cuba Gooding’s brother in the film recently on a local radio show, talking about how everyone in the film made a big paycheck but him,) ‘Home of Angels,’ and ‘Malcolm X.’

His comedy special entitled ‘Hollywood Look, I’m Smiling,’ has recently come out on DVD after premiering on Showtime.

He’s the only comic I’ve ever heard (and the only person for that matter) that can do a Paul Mooney impression. (And he does it quite well.)
