If members of The Jersey Shore can show they swing both ways, or all ways, then perhaps bisexuality won't be such an enigma to the general public.
Because, the down-to-earth regular kids on the show are now speculating about each others' secrets, and Snooki has come out as bisexual.
Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi talked to US Magazine and the Huffington Post and said, "I would consider myself bi. I've done stuff with girls before. But I would never be with a girl because I like... penis. But I've experimented."
Being bisexual doesn't necessarily show that you've acted out sexually with all genders, but that you recognize the potential for having relationships with either. She is arguably one of the favorite characters of the show, and it could help in the public perception of bisexuality (or hurt it, some bi activists say.)
House resident JWoww speculated that supposed sex-pot Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino seems to have his own situation about hooking up with girls. He's not all that successful. JWoww said, "That wouldn't surprise me. I mean, his posture and the way he holds his cigarettes… everything. (…) I can't confirm or deny with Mike, but if he was [gay], it would all make sense."
Snooki said "[Mike] told me one time, '[All this talk] is making me wonder.'" Meanwhile, Snooki has snuggled on camera with her roommate Deena Nicole Cortese and her best friend Caitlin Ryder. Meanwhile, the 24-year-old had a child with boyfriend Jionni LaValle.
