Snooki reveals dreams to host: 'I'm the female Mario Lopez'

"Jersey Shore" star Snooki caught the TV hosting bug while hosting MTV's live New Year's Eve special. The reality star revealed on Tuesday, despite losing her teleprompter and having to improvise the night before, she wants to be a television host. "I now know my next calling in life…The FEMALE version of Mario Lopez! I want to be a host!!!!" Snooki revealed on her new Celebuzz blog.

This isn't the first time Snooki has voiced her dreams of hosting. Last month, she declared she hopes to land her own talk show similar to "Chelsea Lately." "I want like a late-night talk show, so I can talk about anything and get raunchy and you know just like have fun," Snooki said.

"Jersey Shore," the MTV reality show that mad Snooki a household name in 2009, just wrapped up its final season. The network isn't losing, arguably, its biggest star, though. The 25-year-old stars in "Snooki & JWoWW Season 2" premiering January 6. The spin-off series will include the birth of Snooki and Jionni Lavalle's baby, Lorenzo. The couple is engaged, but have yet to make any wedding plans as Snooki has been busy building her empire and launching new products including lines of clothing, jewelry, bags, shoes, baby accessories, hair accessories, nail polish, and makeup.

If Snooki does land her own hosting gig, let's hope the new mom has time to fit it into her busy schedule.
