Snooki maintains 42-lb weight loss by working out seven days a week

Reality TV star Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi is maintaining her impressive 42-pound pregnancy weight loss by continuing to follow a strict diet and working out seven days a week.

“I go to the gym seven days a week and I’m on a meal plan,” Snooki told HollywoodLife. "The only thing I eat that I love is ice cream."

The 4-foot-9 Snooki, who gave birth to son Lorenzo in August 2012, slimmed down from 144 lbs to 102 lbs, thanks to a 1,300-calorie-a-day diet and regular gym workouts.

Polizzi, 25, enjoys being a mom so much that she's ready to have twins soon with fiance Jionni LaValle, 25. “l want kids now, actually!” says Snooki. “Twins.”

Polizzi, a former party animal who was arrested in 2010 for drunk and disorderly conduct, has overhauled her entire lifestyle after becoming a mom.

"When you have a baby everything changes," says Snooki, who no longer drinks to excess and enjoys quiet evenings at home. "Instead of wanting to go out all the time to drink, I just want to stay at home and be with the baby."
