Snooki is going into the new year with some new ink. The MTV reality star and new mom made the big reveal on her new Celebuzz blog on Tuesday, admitting she hadn't even told her family about her newest tattoo. "I haven’t mentioned or showed anyone besides Jionni this tattoo!" she revealed showing off the large winged leopard on her left shoulder.

The star of "Snooki & JWoWW" calls hew new ink a "fierce leopard tattoo." She says it represents strong, independent woman and explains, "the crown represents being a queen and being fabulous, and the wings represent everyone who has passed in my family." Of course, it's also a nod to her beloved animal print.

Snooki confirms she got the tattoo, her sixth, while she and her "Jersey Shore" co-stars were in Los Angeles last month to film the finale reunion special. (The entire cast gathered on the west coast for the December 20th live reunion.) Snooki says the timing of the tattoo, done by Bryce Oprandi at LA's The Marlet Tattoo, will forever be a reminder of her time filming the sixth and final "Jersey Shore" reunion special.
The 4'9" reality star has previously said she wants to get a tattoo honoring her now four month old son, Lorenzo. Snooki confirms she's currently planning her seventh tattoo, but hasn't revealed if that will be the Lorenzo ink.
