Snooki vowed she'd quickly return to her pre-pregnancy body and just six months after giving birth to baby Lorenzo she's done exactly that. Showing off her 102 pound bikini-ready body on the cover Us Weekly (released March 6), the "Jersey Shore" star reveals her impressive 42 pound weight loss. "Hard work pays off," Snooki tweeted today along with a picture of her cover story. "Big thanks to my trainer @cupps27."
"I lost it for me," Snooki says, "but I also wanted (fiance) Jionni to know that I can be hot as a mom." The MTV reality star has been working with a personal trainer since just six weeks after her televised delivery. Snooki has said she's been focused on a combination of fitness and healthy eating to shed the baby weight. She's been working out at the gym and also at home to lose the pounds.
Snooki had an impressive body transformation in late 2011 in which she had a double digit weight loss. She credited diet supplements, working out, cutting back on alcohol and eating right for shedding the pounds. Soon after hitting her weight loss goal, the 4'9" "Snooki & JWoWW" star became pregnant gaining more than 40 pounds. She promised she'd return to her pre-pregnancy body as quickly as possible -- and she's delivered.
But just how long Snooki's bikini-ready body will last is now the question as she admits she wants to have another baby "soon."
