Saturday night, Paul Rudd hosted Saturday Night Live (SNL) and made an appearance with the popular band “One Direction,” and the news has created a buzz Sunday morning. See the video to the left of the opening monologue of SNL for Saturday night;; the video shows “One Direction” taking on Paul Rudd’s own man band as the whole group sings a song together, according to the NBC live video and the Daily Motion.
During the opening SNL monologue Paul Rudd explained that this is his third time hosting the show and he always had to share the stage with some musical guest and it wasn’t going to happen this time. He explained that the first time he hosted SNL, he was upstaged by Beyonce and then the next time he hosted it was Paul McCartney, and now:
"Finally, it's the Paul Rudd show." he said.
Then “One Direction” walked up behind Paul Rudd.
Paul Rudd said that he wasn’t going to be up staged by the popular boy band and that be brought his "man band" with him. Paul Rudd's man band included himself and: Will Ferrell, Steve Carell and David Koechner.
Ferrell immediately called “One Direction,” Menudo instead, referring to the popular 90s boy band.
Carrell said: "Why don't you kids go sit on Santa's lap and ask for a pair of balls."
Farrell started the whole group started singing "Afternoon Delight." See the hilarious video of “One Direction” and the whole group singing above.
