Marg Helgenberger has been part of the CSI team as long as long as the fans can remember. The actress plays Catherine Willows from the Las Vegas Crime Lab and has been busting bad guys on a weekly basis. After deciding to quit the show, Helgenberger has been written out of the script in an emotional farewell. Releasing a sneak peek on Thursday, CBS gives fans a glimpse of her character over the years.
Showing the progression of the character as it has developed over the years, from the different hairstyles to the focus, fans gather a glimpse. The clip fast forwards and shows her end on CSI with an emotional farewell. Willow’s colleagues are gathered around saying goodbye and swapping hugs. The last scene shows Willows career over being carted out in boxes.
Marg Helgenberger will be seen on the final two episodes starting January 18th. A chance to say goodbye to the fans who have supported her and share in an ending that seems to come naturally during the show, CSI fans will be sharing a proper farewell.
