This Sunday is Super Bowl Sunday, and you know what that means: discussing your favorite commercials with your co-workers on Monday around the office Keurig machine. Mercedes-Benz has already got the jump on the line-up, however, in releasing their commercial entitled "Soul" early for your viewing pleasure. It's no wonder that they cannot contain their excitement when you consider the jaw-dropping surprise they have in store for you by the extended clip's end.
The product being touted is the new Mercedes CLA, a stylized four-door coupe with a turbo-charged, 208-hp inline-4 engine. Now, if Academy Award Nominee Willem Dafoe showed up as the devil and offered you this car (and everything that goes along with it) in exchange for your soul, would you take him up on it?
You could be driving around a NASCAR track with Sports Illustrated model Kate Upton's phone number in your pocket after spending a night kicking it on the dance floor with Grammy-award winning musical artist Usher. And to top it all off, the soundtrack to your life could be The Rolling Stones classic, "Sympathy for the Devil."
But all kidding aside, if you want to invest your money in a company that will make you proud to spend it with them, Mercedes-Benz shot this video in New Orleans, a location they have taken a large part in contributing to with regard to charitable organizations that have funded the clean-up and rebuilding of the city after the tragedy that was Hurricane Katrina. Mercedes-Benz is also the official sponsor of the New Orleans Superdome, the host stadium of Super Bowl XLVII.
