The reputed Italian designer, whose full name is Valentino Clemente Ludovico Garavani, is known best for his haute couture creations in trademark sizzling red palette.
He announced his retirement from the fashion world on September 4, 2007. On January 23, 2008, he delivered his last haute couture show in Paris at the Musee Rodin which was attended by fashion's biggest names and world's famous supermodels like Naomi Campbell, Claudia Schiffer, many others.
