It’s been approximately eight years since gospel music lovers received a studio album from Grammy Award winner - Smokie Norful. Known for his first inspirational single “I Need You Now,” Smokie presents his new album appropriately entitled – “Forever Yours.” The new album is presently available (all formats) in record stores and digital online outlets. The album was released August 5th, 2014 and is on Motown Gospel/Universal Music Group Label.

For this project, Smokie decided to work with the same producers that worked on his debut album. Producers are: Tony Dixon (Listed as Antonio Dixon in album credits), Derek ‘D.O.A.’ Allen, Aaron W. Lindsey, and Elvis “Blac Elvis” Williams. Smokie Norful, Ken Pennell and Aaron W. Lindsey are listed as the Executive Producers.

The album contains ten songs, boasting a variety of Praise & Worship, ballads and contemporary styled songs. Smokie Norful fans may find “I’ve Got What You Need,” and “I Need A Word,” a little different, familiar but overall inspirational and enjoyable. “Forever Yours,” proves to have something for everyone. Please note that the Deluxe Edition of the album on iTunes has a total of fourteen songs.

Smokie Norful is not just an internationally known gospel artist; he’s also a Pastor and launched his church – Victory Cathedral Worship Center, located in Bolingbrook, IL in 2005. He serves as the Senior Pastor and the ministry has experienced growth over the years with an emphasis on reaching the community by encouraging members to live a life to be remembered through volunteerism, charity and philanthropy.
