Smiling Moose Deli, Westminster, closed

The Smiling Moose Deli, not really a deli, but a sandwich shop that wanted to be good, but just missed the mark. There was a location on 120th in Westminster, but is has since closed down. No surprise at all!

Mediocre bread, mediocre food, mediocre ingredients, mediocre service and high prices. But, if you are a Subway or Quizno's fan then this place is right up your alley. The fast food places of sandwiches, ugh. We see these types of places come and go. Without the marketing and money to back these smaller chains, they do not have a chance. And why should they?

If you are going to offer up such mediocrity, at least have some redeeming factor that keeps people coming back. With Subway, it's $5 subs(I refuse to call them foot longs) and Quizno's toasts all their sandwiches(Oh and the banana peppers!). More power to these people that want to start up a business and move move forward into franchising, but for all our sake, serve a product that people will love and keep coming back for. Look at Snarf's, Jimmy John's or Smashburger!

Fast food, should be fast, but not junk! Quality......is everything. People will pay more, and keep coming back and write good reviews.
