According to My Fox Atlanta, a friendly dog waited at a DeKalb County, Ga., bus stop with some high school students earlier this week, then decided to hop on board as soon as the doors opened.
The dog, dubbed "Ryder," promptly settled into a seat on the bus and then, refused to leave.
Eventually, with some food and a good deal of coaxing, Ryder decided to leave his comfortable seat, and the bus - at the time, nobody caught him and he was allowed to trot away. Not long after the story hit the local media, Ryder was found and sent to Diva's Pit Bull Rescue.
In every photo, Ryder, aka "bus boy," is sporting a huge smile, seemingly happy to be safely off of the streets. The dog has some superficial wounds on his face and body, but nothing serious.
According to Fox News, Ryder is available for adoption. Click here to find his rescuers on Facebook.
