A lot of people automatically assume that you have to have an endless amount of money to afford designer duds. Not true!As many of you know, I’m a budget savvy shopper. I am constantly getting bargains and paying a fraction of what something is worth. In fact it seems almost foolish to spend full price on something, as eventually it will go on sale anyway.
Living in the San Francisco Bay Area has given me a great advantage of being able to shop at dozens of different designer stores and chic second hand stores too. However there are many people who unfortunately do not have the luxury of having an array of retail shops in their towns. Behold, Smashion.com, a market web place for people selling their gently used designer items at a dramatically low rate.
Not only can you purchase things on Smashion, but sell them as well. Think of this site as eBay exclusively for clothing and accessories. Not big on wearing things that have been worn by others? There are a number of items listed that have never been used by their owner, which make them a true bargain.
Best section on Smashion? Definitely handbags.
