Alternative rockers The Smashing Pumpkins announced the band's world tour on Mar. 9, 2013. The world tour starts on Mar. 23, and kicks-off in Mexico.
The band released the first batch of 37 concert dates with additional dates to be released. The band was formed in 1988 by lead singer Billy Corgan.
The band released nine albums, "Gish" 1991, "Siamese Dream" 1993, "Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness" 1995, "Adore" 1998, "Machina/The Machines of God" 2000, "Machina II/The Friends & Enemies of Modern Music" 2000, "Zeitgeist" 2007, "Teargarden by Kaleidyscope" 2009, and "Oceania" 2012.
The Smashing Pumpkins won two Grammy Awards, one American Music Awards and seven MTV Video Music Awards. The following concert dates have been released via Grunge Report:
